MOBIUS STUDIO
Cinematic production.
Without traditional limits.
We create compelling commercials, branded films and visual experiences by combining traditional filmmaking expertise with the possibilities of emerging technology.
01 — SERVICES
What the Studio makes.
Three ways to work together. Each one begins with a conversation about what the film needs to do.
01
Brand Films & Commercials
Cinematic advertising and branded storytelling.
For businesses, products and properties that need to be felt, not just seen. Concept, script, direction and finish, built around the one thing your audience should remember.
02
Social Campaigns & Content
Short-form films built for the feed.
Short promotional films, vertical ads and platform-specific cuts. One visual world, shaped for every placement, from a six-second hook to the full spot.
03
Concept Films & Visual Development
See the project before it is made.
Concept trailers, pitch films and look development for entertainment and commercial projects. A way to show investors, partners and audiences the world you are building.
02 — FEATURED FILM
ALONDRA.
CINEMATIC HOSPITALITY FILM
A family checks into a coastal hotel, each lost in a different screen. Over one stay, the place draws them back to each other. Written and directed by Matthew O’Boyle.
The idea doesn’t have to fit the production anymore.
A camera can go anywhere. A location doesn’t have to exist. A product can live in a world built entirely around it.
Mobius pairs a filmmaker’s judgment with the flexibility of emerging production tools. The tools widen what a project can attempt. The decisions about story, performance, composition, pacing and sound are still made by a director. You get room to explore ideas before committing, a collaborator at every stage, and a process shaped around your project rather than a fixed pipeline.

The technology opens the door. Direction decides where it leads.

03 — THE FILMMAKER
The filmmaker behind Mobius.
I’m Matthew O’Boyle, the filmmaker behind Mobius Studio. You work directly with me from the first conversation to the finished film. I lead concept, visuals, edit and sound, and bring in collaborators when a project calls for them.
My background includes Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions and projects for CNBC, Nintendo and Procter & Gamble.
The craft is in choosing what belongs: a performance, a cut, a moment of silence, and shaping those choices into a film that holds attention. Authored, not automated.
Alongside commercial work, I develop original films and music. That’s where I experiment, follow my own questions, and try things I haven’t done before. Those discoveries inform what I bring to each new project.
04 — HOW WE WORK
Every film has a job to do.
Before we think about shots or aesthetics, we ask what the film is for — who needs to see it, what they need to feel, and what should happen next.
01
Discover
Find the soul.
We start with your audience, your objective and the idea. Before anything is made, we agree on what the film is for and what it should leave people with.
02
Develop
Build the frame.
Script, look and storyboard come together into a plan you can see. You review the direction early, while changes are still easy to make.
03
Deliver
Earn the attention.
Production, edit, sound and finish. You receive the finished film plus the cutdowns, verticals and stills it needs for each platform and placement.
What's the story?
Tell me about the brand, the property, the song, the idea. If I can help you tell that story in a way you haven’t seen it told before, I’d love to.
